The End Is Where We Start From.

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 20, 2008, 4:46 AM
I don't know if anyone who reads my ramblings is a fan of Torchwood. I am. I just watched the season finale and, for the record, I wept. I cried like a schoolgirl... Like I had just lost some of my real friends. I hope that someday I can create something so moving.

I loved the finale. It was actually a wonderful spinoff from the new Doctor Who.

I only saw the first season before it was pulled off air here in Australia. You have just reminded me that I need to buy the rest of the series.

Farscape? Isn't that the Henson studio thing from a few years back.

Aye. With the aliens and suchlike. It is very fun to watch-- it's almost all character development stuff. It's like a dream come true! I didn't have cable when it was on so I haven't seen much of it except the last couple of seasons, but, we've been watching it from the beginning since a few weeks ago and now we only have 2 eps of season 1 left.

I haven't yet watched torchwood... I can barely keep up with House or the daily show... I hear it is actually amazing. trust me your comic is moving, when Carol and Thomas kissed for the first time, i found it to be a very moving, emotional and just greatly done comic. The reason I have is because there are SO many comics where it take 5 million pages for person A to tell person B that they like them. You on the other hand put it right out there. Your writing of Between Failures makes it very easy to like the characters and even easier to get to know them. I always have felt that if there is any romantic feelings two people in my comic have towards each other, that to spread it over 2-3 years would be a repeated kick in the head to people who want them to get together. In a way, reading your comic make me want to be better. I am sorry if I am ranting, i am in a ranting mood for some reason.

You know, that was one of the reasons I had Carol & Thomas admit their feelings in the first part. Everybody does years of buildup to a relationship, then they get together and it's like it's all over. I kind of wanted to see if a person could tell the story from the begining of the relationship on. I guess we'll find out later wheather me in particular can do it or not.
