Monsters & Furries.

Fri Oct 23, 2009, 8:21 PM
It looks like the terror that is gum disease is going to be the next big monster craze. I'd like to see them turn that into a story about sexy tweens cavorting in the woods...

It looks like the bulk of people who pay attention to my nonsense have no particular ill will towards furries. I think that's nice. From what I know of them they are, lke any group of people, alright for the most part. It's very trendy to hate them since you aren't allowed to hate many groups these days. When deprived of a target humans will never fail to find a new one to direct their ire towards.

This is very true. I really don't have a problem with furries. In fact, I like drawing them from time to time. Althought I'm still unclear what EXACTLY defines a character as a furry (I've heard too many definitions to know the exact one), but the few people I know that define themselves as such are pretty cool. The ones that bother me are the ones that take it too far, as is the way with any group of people. Sports fans, book fans, show fans, game fans, etc. As soon as you take that step beyond a hobby/passion to obsession, THEN you turn into an asshole and make that thing which you are preaching seem awful and dirty.

Life without passion is not living; it is merely existence.

yeah I agree, like how people who game like I do on a nightly basis can be pretty cool, but I've found most MLG(Major League Gamers) to be total asshats.
Furries can be cool people, hell I and one of my best friends fall under that category. But then you get those creepy guys in their moms basements looking up crystal porn >_________> wierd shit yo.

We spiral foreword in time as the river rages on, no life-raft in sight. But hey, it's still a fun ride.

Aren't most flicks for teens already starring Gingivitis?

I hate most people, I'm a disagreeable cuss but I see no reason to single out furries for hate. I've got some great friends who are furries, just like I have great friends who are many other things like female, gay, or some random ethnicity. Furries are just an easy everyman to use as the butt of jokes and generic villain since we're getting closer and closer to a non-offensive accepting world. No longer are nigger jokes, or Polish jokes acceptable, which is great.

Lets all just make fun of Otakukin instead.

But I thought Furries WERE water soluable!?

A furry is any animal with human characteristics. Meaning that everyone from Sonic to Snoopy to the Shambling Corporate Presence is a furry. Internet furries are just "known" for yiffing.

It all started with a single spelling error... And it's slowly transforming into what may be the biggest DA war... The TG artist's war! For more information, read [link] !!

I think they are for the most part.

I'm totally going to be a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance style judge. Riding a giant bird, covered in cool armor, and a little gay. [link]

That's actually pretty much how I think the furhate started. There's no one left to hate.

So if it's regular porn it's okay?

I don't think that's technically correct.
